Festival of Trees

Gualala Arts Center


The beloved Festival of Trees returns with two full days of holiday magic. Local artisans showcase beautifully crafted gifts, decorations, and handmade treasures perfect for thoughtful, one-of-a-kind presents. Explore a wide selection of decorated and undecorated Christmas trees offered through a silent auction, indulge in homemade treats at Mrs. Claus Bake Shop, and capture memories with Santa at noon and 2 PM each day. You’ll also find faux “Forever Trees” of all shapes and sizes, Gualala Arts–branded merchandise, fine art, and handcrafted cards. Renowned pianist Don Krieger will fill the venue with Christmas carols, adding to the festive spirit.


Ukiah on Ice

Downtown Ukiah


Head to downtown Ukiah this winter for an enchanting evening of ice skating under twinkling lights. Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens


The 15th annual Festival of Lights transforms the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens into a glowing holiday dreamscape. This 100% handmade light show features whimsical scenes—from sparkling ocean waves and colorful jungle pathways to shooting stars, leaping dogs, and a flock of illuminated flamingos. Sip cocoa or apple cider from the FOG Holiday Café, enjoy sweet treats, and snap a photo with Santa each Sunday. A cherished community celebration, this event supports local nonprofits and invites everyone to embrace the magic of the season.


Soroptimist Holiday Craft Fair

Celebrate the season with two days of holiday shopping at the annual Soroptimist Holiday Craft Fair. Located in historic Town Hall—just steps from Main Street and the Skunk Train—the fair features an incredible variety of handcrafted goods including quilts, toys, pottery, jewelry, woodwork, knitted items, birdhouses, tools, and more.
